About DPA
In 1992, Danish founders Ole Brøsted Sørensen and Morten Støve established DPA to develop precision measurement microphone technology for professional audio recording. One of their iconic products was the 4006 model, which remains among the world's most accurate microphones.
With the introduction of the revolutionary CORE technology in 2017 and its advanced CORE+ version in later years, DPA has produced microphones that deliver high dynamics, extremely low distortion, and true sound preservation. All products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility in Denmark and undergo up to 15 calibration steps to ensure flawless quality.
